Eatventure 1.50.0 / 1.51.0

Patch Notes
Update1.51.0 โ€” Achievements available to everyone

1.50.0 added Achievements & Ranks as a limited playtest for a random subset of accounts. 1.51.0 makes the achievement features available to all current users; new players are still randomized into the rollout. 1.51.0 also changes the criteria for some achievements.

Playtests

1.50 quietly enabled two playtests, each randomized per account and rolled out independently. Achievements & Ranks has since gone live for all existing players in 1.51.0; bulk box buying remains a limited rollout.

Bulk box buying

Achievements & Ranks

Adds the new game mechanic detailed below, including the new equipment earned by ranking up.

Achievements

Achievements are a new game mechanic structured like a battle pass you've probably seen in other games. There are 44of them, organized into five categories (Restaurant, Character, Event, Pet, and Others), and each one has tiered goals that pay outgemsgems andstarsstars as you complete them. Stars in turn level up yourRank, and each rank-up grants a bundle of rewards: gear, gems, boxes, pet food, and pets.

Each rank pays out on two parallel tracks. The Freetrack is can be claimed when you hit the rank. TheAchievement Fund track is the paid lane: a one-time$24.99 USD in-app purchase unlocks the larger reward bundle at every rank you've reached (and every rank you reach afterward).

New Equipment

Progressing through the new rank system gradually unlocks 18 new rewards, including 16 new equipment pieces and 2 exclusive pets. 9 of them sit behind the Achievement Fund pass ($24.99 USD). None of these are forgeable or available in boxes; ranking up is the only way to get them.

Meta impact

The community is still play-testing these pieces, but a few likely shifts based on raw stats:

Early game. Pot Head / Kimono White Belt / Silver Rolling Pin looks like a strong new entry-meta build.

Mid game. SaucePan may unseat Pepper Mill as the tool slot in the Purple Cap / Kimono Black Belt / Pepper Mill build.

Late game & Mythic. Existing metas probably hold. Burger may be a useful necklace stand-in if you're still chasing Trident.

Total Possible Gain

Maximum reward pool if you cleared every achievement tier and reached every rank, claiming both the Free and Achievement Fund tracks. Computed from our data; unverified tiers are excluded, so the real ceiling is a bit higher.

Playtest FAQ

I don't see the update in the App Store / Play Store yet โ€” what gives?
App store updates roll out gradually, so a new version may take a few days to reach every account even after release. If it's not showing up, force-close the store app and check again later, or pull-to-refresh on your account's update list. Achievements & Ranks are available to all existing players once you're on 1.51.0; bulk box buying is still gated separately and rolled out to a random subset of accounts.
Do I have Achievements & Ranks?
As of 1.51.0, all existing players have Achievements & Ranks โ€” update to 1.51.0 and look for the new trophy button in the upper-right of the main screen, tucked under the events button. New players are still randomized into the rollout.
How does the game decide who gets a new feature in testing?
During a playtest, eligibility is a random draw seeded from your save game ID, done independently per feature. It's pure luck of the draw, not tied to play time, spending, or progress, and updating sooner or later doesn't change the outcome. Assignment happens on a fresh save or on first launch after an update. One of the developers posted a technical breakdown of the rollout logic on Reddit:Dev explanation on r/eatventureofficial
I've been playing for a while โ€” will my past activity count towards achievements?
A few achievements unlock immediately based on what your account has already done (e.g. Franchiser if you've already reached a given city). Most of them, though, only start tracking once Achievements turn on for you โ€” so even longtime players still have plenty of new things to grind for.
